SAFER SURF PARK PROGRAM + CERTIFICATION

The Safer Surf Parks Program and its associated certification pathway were designed to support the surf park industry, operators, workers, and the public in confidently navigating the complexities of regulatory compliance, safety practices, and risk exposures. By utilising the latest research and evidence-based solutions, the program helps surf parks mitigate risks and reduce exposure to potential liabilities and litigation. This comprehensive approach ensures that facilities can operate safely and in accordance with both local and international standards. The program was developed by experienced surf park operators who have received recognition from government safety regulators and other esteemed institutions, bringing invaluable, real-world expertise to both the program and certification process.

The Safer Surf Parks Program and Certification pathway empower surf park operators to establish effective and sustainable operations from the outset, helping them avoid unnecessary costs and practices that could hinder long-term viability. Designed to be a practical guide, the program eliminates the need for operators to "reinvent the wheel." By leveraging the experience of those who have successfully developed and operated surf parks, the program helps operators focus on business growth and operational efficiency, positioning them for ongoing success and industry leadership.

The Safer Surf Parks Program and Certification pathway are applicable to all surf and wave pool technology providers, including both dynamic (traveling wave) and static wave installations. Whether you're managing an existing facility or planning a new one, the program ensures that your operation is aligned with industry best practices, optimised for safety, and positioned to thrive in a competitive market.
